Dr. ANDREAS BARBETSEAS
Dr. Andreas Barbetseas graduated from the Dental School of the University of Athens in Greece in 2005. He received specialty training in Surgical and Prosthetic Implantology in the Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry of New York University, USA (Chair: Professor Dr. Dennis Tarnow) between 2008 and 2010.
In 2010, he received the New York University's Postgraduate Research Award for his research work on the peri-implant soft tissue management. During his graduate studies he pursued extensive academic and clinical training on the full range of Periodontal and Peri-implant Microsurgery, and one of the doctor's main clinical interests lies in the application of minimally invasive microsurgical techniques for the maximization of Aesthetics in periodontal and implant care.
During the last years, Dr. Barbetseas has been focused on using cutting-edge Digital Technology for the optimum application of Computer Guided Implantology, as well as developing innovative digital protocols, which increase the speed and predictability of Implant Therapy. Since 2020, he is the Director of ImmediaTeam Digital Center in Greece, which offers advanced digital services to dentists on an international basis.
Dr. Andreas Barbetseas is the Founder and Director of Education of the "ImmediaTeam International Association’’. The mission of the ImmediaTeam is to provide: 1.state-of-the-art digital services relative to Computer Guided Implantology and 2.state-of-the-art specialized clinical courses relative to Advanced Implant Dentistry to dentists worldwide.
The doctor has been the winner of multiple clinical awards, including the 1st Bego Clinical Case Award in 2013, and a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) since 2010.
Dr. Barbetseas is an international speaker on Advanced Oral Implantology and Oral Microsurgery, having trained numerous dentists from around the world with innovative lectures and courses.
Dr. Barbetseas maintains a private practice in Athens, Greece which is limited to Implant Surgical Reconstruction and Soft Tissue Regeneration
